The Art Manor Johanna Oras Punkaharju hosts an annually changing summer exhibition of Johanna’s art. At the Art Manor you can also do some shopping, visit Johanna’s summer atelier, explore the lovely garden and see Johanna’s sculptures, enjoy the atmosphere on the summer terrace or have a coffee and snack at the Kallary Café.
The history of the Art Manor dates back all the way to the 1540s. The current main house was built in 1857. The Art Manor has seen many phases of history and witnessed wars, famine, rises and falls. On the manor lands people have practiced agriculture, taken care of the wounded and fed travellers and passers by.
Today the Johanna Oras Art Manor does all of the above by means of art. Johanna and Reijo Oras bought the manor in 2009 and made it into an oasis for lovers of aesthetics and culture.
